Recognition
What does ‘recognition’ mean?
The term ‘recognition’ refers to a process in which achievements that you have not completed as part of your current degree programme are taken into account in your current degree programme. You have to apply for recognition. This is only possible if you have an official notice of admission to a degree programme at the University of Vienna. The directorate of studies decides whether achievements can be recognised.
For further information about types of achievements that can be recognised as well as recognition and validation topics, please see the website of the Office of the Studienpräses.
